One Mission programs provide help, hope, and unwavering support to children battling cancer, their siblings, and their parents. Your generous sacrifice brings moments of joy, laughter, and relief during treatment, helping families heal from the emotional and physical weight of childhood cancer.
Listed below are some important details on fundraising and collecting donations.
Ask people to support your commitment to children fighting cancer by making a donation in any of the following ways:
Send donors to your online fundraising page, and ask them to click the “Donate” button to give by credit card. They will receive a tax receipt via email and their donation will immediately appear on your fundraising page.
Online donations are the most efficient, but if a donor writes a check, ask them to make it payable to One Mission. Write your name in the memo area. Send checks along with your Donation Form to One Mission monthly. Donations made by check will be reflected in your fundraising total within 7-10 days of receipt. Tax receipts will be issued for gifts of $25 or more if the donor’s mailing address is supplied.
Thousands of companies match all or a portion of a charitable gift made by an employee. Ask your supporters to check with their Human Resource Departments to find out if their workplace has this kind of program and will help support your fundraising efforts.
