Shave your head to honor and support kids with cancer – kids who don’t have a choice to lose their hair. By taking part in the Buzz Off, you’re showing them that no one fights alone.

Ask friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor your participation. Every dollar you raise helps bring comfort, hope, and joy to kids fighting cancer and their families.

Host a Buzz Off event, shave your head at home or in a salon, or join the One Mission team on Zoom on May 3rd for a virtual shave – whatever works best for you! However you choose to participate, you’ll be making a real difference.

Start a Team

Shave with others by starting a team. Invite friends, family and co-workers to join.  Dial up the fun by hosting your Buzz Off event at a restaurant, bar, workplace or school. As Team Captain, you’ll lead your team in raising money for kids’ cancer.

Shaving Not for You? No Problem!

Cut or color your hair to raise money instead. Whichever style you choose the difference you’ll make in the lives of kids with cancer will be the same.

Why Take Part?

Children and families dealing with cancer experience anguish that is all-encompassing and essentially invisible to those outside the hospital corridors. Your participation in the Buzz Off will fund programs that make life brighter for patients and their families and provide emotional and financial support at a time when they need it the most.

Where Your Fundraising Goes

Thanks to the funds raised by participants like you last year, One Mission supported over 4,000 kids fighting cancer and their families by providing:

10,800 Parking Passes

easing the cost and worry of frequent and expensive hospital parking.

114 Special Occasion Parties

allowing children to celebrate and still be kids, even while living in the hospital.

500 Music Therapy Sessions

lifting spirits and supporting emotional healing and expression.

150 Family Catered Meals

like Taco Tuesday or Pizza Night, where families gather over a delicious meal.
