It’s not just fundraising, it’s making a difference!
Thanks for taking part in The One Mission Buzz Off. Your sacrifice will help kids cope, play, laugh, heal and persevere through cancer. Listed below are some important details on fundraising and collecting donations.
Each registered Buzzee participating in a One Mission Buzz Off at Gillette Stadium, is responsible for raising a minimum of $350 ($200 for kids 14 or younger) by July 31, 2018. After this date, any balance due will be charged to the credit card used at registration. Registration fees do not count towards your fundraising minimum and are not tax deductible.
Example: If a Buzzee has only raised $200 by July 31, 2018, their credit card will be charged the remaining $150.
If you are buzzing on your own or hosting your own Buzz Off for One Mission there is no fundraising minimum required.

Fundraising was so much easier than I expected! Once people heard I was shaving my head to help kids beat cancer they were eager to support me. I enjoyed sharing my story and felt great pride that I was doing something good.”
– John, Buzzee
Ask people to support your commitment to shave by making a donation in any of the following ways:
Send donors to your online fundraising page, and ask them to click the “Donate” button to give by credit card. They will receive a tax receipt via email and their donation will immediately appear on your fundraising page.
Online donations are the most efficient, but if a donor writes a check, ask them to make it payable to One Mission. Write your name in the memo area. Send checks along with your Donation Form into One Mission monthly. Donations made by check will be reflected in your fundraising total within 7-10 days of receipt. Tax receipts will be issued for gifts of $25 or more if donor’s email address is supplied.
Thousands of companies match all or a portion of a charitable gift made by an employee. Ask your supporters to check with their Human Resource Departments to find out if their workplace has this kind of program and will help support your fundraising efforts.
Note: One Mission does not accept cash donations. You will need to write one personal check or money order for the total amount of cash donations received and record them on the Donation Form. You may issue donors a receipt if requested for their cash donation.
